The Next Step
Tomorrow is a day I’ve been waiting for for years. It’s the day I go to University and start taking my next big step in life.
I’m quite looking forward to tomorrow. There’s a lot to do on the first day, but it should be fun to meet many of the new people I’ll be living and studying with. There’s also a lot in the way of parties happening on the first week. The emphasis is all about settling in and enjoying ourselves in our new environment, and as such there are numerous events taking place all week, including quiz nights and performances from celebrities…sounds fun.
Unfortunately, I can’t be certain as to when I’ll get my internet connection back after tomorrow. There is an internet access point in every room where I’ll be staying, but in order to use the net you need to be registered, and the time I’m supposed to register is currently unknown. I might have the connection setup by the end of day one, or it might take me a week or so. Either way, I’ll be back online as soon as I can…between all the hopping from event to event.
